TRASH CAM: Cam Cole at BSTV Episode # 4, 28/08/14

The inimitable Cam Cole, a long time BSTV and Trash favourite, graced the Rock-a-luau stage last month at the New Cross and delivered a classically brilliant set of roaring rock n roll festooned with hits from his recent self-produced debut 'Contribute'.

TRASH CAM: The Love Me Tenders at BSTV Episode # 4 at the New Cross Inn

BSTV Episode # 4 said aloha to The Love Me Tenders who wowed the Rock-a-luau audience with raw rock n roll power, swagger, style and plenty of hilarious banter between songs. Particular kudos for the ‘lei’ related puns, snappy shirts and ‘hot off the press’ band t-shirts.

BSTV is currently trying to woo the band into releasing the sound recording of the set through Trash Records, so stay tuned for more info on this!

TRASH CAM: Zombie Met Girl at BSTV Episode # 4, 28/08/14 at the New Cross Inn

Gravesend-based Zombie Met Girl pull no punches in delivering high octane, surfy garage punk with bite and balls of steel. 

The band draws influences from the famed 70s garage rock scene in the US, along with the stories, visuals and typography of trashy B Movies, Horror and Science Fiction to create a theatrical and unique result. 

BSTV was thrilled to have them return to the New Cross Inn to headline its Summer Rock-a-luau where they donned the most impressive Hawaiian shirts in the building and gave a performance that was truly effervescent and every bit as colourful and vibrant as the flowers on their costumes.
